Need help finding the name of an old skool hip hop song.?

I hear it a lot when I go to cotillions. It a type of song that you
could dance to and is usually played with this is how we do it and
children's story. I think it's an LA song and has kind of like an
asian beat or something. I don't know how else to describe it and it's
hard to hear the lyrics. I've tried looking in lists of top 100 old
school hip hop songs. Help please. :)
